Harrisonburg Farmers' Market

A local Farmers Market, organized in 1979 and still going strong. We feature all kinds of fresh produce, including heritage lines, artisan breads and many other baked goods, honey, jams, jellies and sauces, soups, bedding and nursery plants, herbs, fresh flowers, goats milk cheeses, free range eggs and pasture raised meats. We also have a selection of local handcrafted items, including handmade soaps, jewelry and woodwork.

Summer Market, April through November, Tuesdays and Saturdays, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Holiday Market: the first three Saturdays in December, 9 a.m. to 12 noon Winter Market Saturdays, January through March, 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

Access to seedlings to transplant into my garden that are in better condition than those from the big box stores and locally grown organic produce.

While the market boasts a large variety of fresh, organic produce, meats and other great products, it is the community of people there who truly make it great!

Love the local and organic produce... supporting local farmers and crafters is the way to go!
