Hartsell Farms

Hartsell Farms is a recognized NCDA century farm. We raise endangered heritage breeds of animals. The Belted Galloway cattle, that is known for their exceptionally lean and flavorful meat. The Tennessee Fainting goat and the rare Gulf Coast sheep. In order to help these breeds survive they will have to be once again, intergrated back into our economy.

We use no antibiotics, hormones or steroids. All of our processed animals are raised on grass and hay with very little or no grain. Our meat can be processed Halal, or not ,it is the customer's choice. All meat is USDA inspected and vacuum packaged unless you request otherwise. Meat can be processed at a NCDA inspected site and wraped in butcher paper at a lower cost, NC residents only. (more...)
