Our local grove was planted in the 1940's by the lateJohn Hatcher, who specially developed and registered his wonderful Hatcher mango. They are still grown on the same family owned slice of Old Florida and marketed on site in the summertime and through the Hatcher Mango Hill website. This beautiful mango grove in Palm Beach County offers organically grown mangoes picked fresh daily that are tree ripened and sold in a peak condition of flavor and quality.
The popular Hatcher variety is a native south Florida mango that is unusually large with smooth flesh that is not stringy. a small thin seed and the taste is out of this world! These outstanding mangoes were chosen as superior Florida mangoes by Slow Food and listed in their Ark of Taste. (more...)
