Havurah Farm is family owned and operated, located less than a mile east of Springfield, Oregon. We are committed to family, friendships and farming, in that order. Our desire is to build relationships and community through cooperative enterprises and to provide real food to people who care about what they eat.
Our current focus is on providing quality pasture raised whole broiler chickens. We source local! Chicks are hatched locally, which means less stress on the chicks during transportation. Feed is freshly milled nearby, using high quality Northwest-grown whole grains. Chicks are in brooders for only three to four weeks before they go to pasture, where they are exposed to fresh air, fresh grass and sunlight. At full development, they are processed on farm in our ODA licensed facility using hand slaughter and evisceration methods.
Customers and others interested can experience our farm through [i]farm tours[/i] (by appointment only) and [i]volunteering[/i]. Internships are limited, but inquiries are welcome.
Pasture Raised Chicken Processed and dressed weekly from May through October. Order options: CSA membership, buying club, individual weekly orders, or wholesale to meat markets and restaurants. CSA and retail pricing will be available early March for the 2014 season.
Also available by order are feet, hearts, livers and cleaned gizzards.

Currently offering whole packaged chicken to meat markets, restaurants and caterers. We are USDA exempt for meat counter resale. Options also available for businesses only certified to sell frozen prepackaged meats. Contact us to discuss quantity, and frequency pricing, and your lunch or dinner service and catering needs.
