Tension headaches can occur at any time, but, usually when we are tired or stressed. The tension headache can last anywhere from an hour to several days. Although, thankfully, this type of headache is not as bad as having a migraine, but, it is still a headache. With tension headaches the pain is in the back of the head and in the neck and shoulder muscles.
This nice, mild herb tea will work to relax away simple tension headaches.
My herbal combination of Chamomile, white willow bark, feverfew, lemon balm, rosemary and mint that I grow and harvest myself, are safer herbs to use than using valerian, kava, black cohosh, wood betony, passion flower.

For the most part unless mentioned otherwise, each tea bag will make 2 cups of tea; one ounce of just an herb is about a sandwich bag, and sometimes a little more. If an ounce of herb tea it would be about 1/2 a sandwich bag. If it is a root herb such as burdock root it is heavier, thus an ounce would be about a quarter of a sandwich bag. Comfrey, plantain and nettle leaves would be in a quart size bag.
