Healthy Family Farms is a sustainable, pasture-based farming operation. We raise all our livestock on pasture. We raise all of our animals from birth. We do not feed any of our animals soy, choosing instead to feed animals as they are designed to be fed. This results in healthy, sturdy animals needing no hormones, antibiotics, or other artificial "enhancements." We harvest our animals humanely by hand before they are delivered to the farmers markets. We never freeze our products.
In addition to farmer's markets sales, we have an active CSA, which offers discounts to our valued members.
We offer pastured chicken (Rhode Island Reds and Cornish Whitestar), Pekin ducks, and Cornish game hens year-round, as well as turkeys for Thanksgiving. In addition, we raise beef (Scottish Highland and Black Angus), milk-fed pork (white pigs and Berkshire, fed with our own goats' milk and whey), and lamb (Dorper). We also offer fresh eggs from chickens raised on pasture. Goat cheese and other dairy products are available at the farm for CSA members.
Healthy Family Farms is known for our incredibly fresh (never frozen), delicious, truly free-range poultry, eggs, lamb, pork, beef and dairy products. Try our products, you will be absolutely delighted!
