We are a diversified grass-based dairy farm in Central New York. The dairy is certified Organic. Half of the herd in 2007 is a heritage breed (Ayrshire or Kerry). Our primary business is making and shipping milk. In 2003, Shannon started to make cheese with our milk. She makes pasteurized and raw milk cheeses. The farm also has a small flock of meat sheep, pigs and a conservation flock of Arapawa Island goats. They help improve pastures for the dairy herd.
Most of our cheeses are sold to restaurants and stores via a distributor. We will have a farm stand and sell at more farmers markets in 2007. We also have a number of cheesemaking and farm skills workshops.

Center Road is off Rte 20 in Madison (below windmills). We are the first farm on the right. The stand will be opened 7 days a week from 6 am to 8 pm. It is based on the honor system.
