Heart of the Valley Farm , located in the heart of the Cowaselon Valley ,offers Heritage turkey poults in the spring-summer, fresh holiday birds in the fall, rabbits-live, fresh or frozen, and fresh chicken eggs when available--my girls REALLY like to be broody--which obviously cuts down the egg production, so occasionally we have chicks for sale also.
All the birds are free ranged daytime, and locked in at night due to a high predator population. Their natural diet is supplemented with locally sourced/milled grain recipes. Turkeys are raised/bred/hatched and finished on site, farm fresh directly to you. They are humanely raised as natural as possible. No hormones or antibiotics. I try to use natural remedies if needed. I use the awesome "fly predators", and barn cats for pest management.

We will have a limited number of birds available, within the #12 +/- to #18 +/- range, dressed. $ 4.50/#. I am now taking orders for Holiday birds at the Westmoreland Summer Farmers Market, every Sunday 9 am to 1 pm, and I will be at the Winter Farmers Market this year, November 2014-May 2015. First Saturday of the month, except Dec which will be the second Saturday. 9 am to noon. Info can be found on their Facebook page.

I do not ship. I do not sell day old hatchlings. All poults/chicks are at least 1 week old. Rabbits are at least 6 weeks old.
