Heirloom Acres is located on a ridge outside of Viola. We are a small family farm and take great care in selecting our mostly heirloom seeds, starting and handling of our plants and picking the produce. We have been organic for 10 years. We use minerals, kelp, rock dusts and green manures to improve the available nutrients for the plants. We believe "Food that is nutrient dense can eliminate disease...Food as medicine". We do farming, because we love it. We do it in a sustainable way that feeds our family and yours for generations to come. We offer a 19 week CSA. Members can choose; a full 19 week share, an every other week share, Fall share-2 boxes loaded with all the fall goodies(potatoes, garlic, onions, squash ect..), Fall share with a home grown chicken in each box. We have available pickups at the farm, in Richland Center (the same days as the farmers market) Wed. 2:30-6:00pm at Krouskop Park, 7am-12pm. We are open to other possibilities. Contact us to see if you qualify for our insurance discount. This is a program with certain insurance companies that will reimburse you for your purchase of our CSA. Contact us to find out the details. In addition to our CSA's we sell at the Richland Center Farmers from the first weekend in May to the second wekend in Oct. We have the same or similar items that we have available in our CSA boxes. This year we will have 70 different types of tomatoes. All but two are heirlooms...from Snow White Cherry to Wisconsin 55. Come check us out in Richland Center.
