Our heirloom Sparkler White Tip radish is very easy to grow and one of the first spring or fall vegetables you will enjoy from your garden.
Radishes are easy-to-grow, tasty and colorful, and ready to harvest in just a few weeks. They are best if timed to harvest during cool weather. This variety has bright red skin with a distinct white tip and white flesh.
Direct sow seed beginning as soon as the ground can be worked in the spring. Repeat every 2 weeks except during hot weather.
Harvest the roots when young and mild so the others will have room to grow.
Used for fresh eating, sliced into salads, here on the farm we slice them thinly and add to our soups.
