We have been farming naturally for over 25 years. . We raise over 50 varieties of certified naturally grown fruits and veggies. No GMO seeds or conventional fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides are used.Our produce is marketed directly through CSA shares and sold off the farm. CNG is set on the same USDA Organic standards as certified organic as stated by the National Organic Program (NOP). We practice sustainable farming methods such as cover crops, systematic crop rotation, reduced water irrigation systems, recycling crop waste and soil amendments such as kelp, lime , sulfur and compost. The 24 week CSA starting May 15,will contain: Head lettuces, baby lettuce mix, greens, spring onions, strawberries, radishes, bok choy, carrots, broccoli,spinach, arugula, cilantro and a few more. strawberries, broccoli, carrots, onions, celery, cauliflower, beets, kale, spinach, collards, spring onions, and leeks. Towards the mid season you can expect along with many of the spring varieties: 4 varieties of tomatoes, 6 varieties of summer squashes, 4 varieties of eggplant,2 cherry tomatoes,black berries, blue berries, cantaloupes, watermelons, potatoes, lettuces, red Italian onions, peppers, corn, and 4 varieties of beans . Fall crops are: sweet potatoes, potatoes, butternut, acorn squash,Delicata, specialty lettuces, tomatoes, arugula, tatsoi, kales, collards,spinach,brussel sprouts, carrots, celery, beets, cabbages, broccoli, apples and other greens and more. 2014 sign up begins March 3, 2014.
