Our 12.5 acre farm lies in South East Weld County in the High Plains near the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Our elevation is 4958.We are deeply committed to growing healthy, delicious meat and eggs at affordable prices. We believe in being responsible stewards of our land and the people and animals that work and live on our farm.
Our Mission of Excellence: Our mission is to provide you with the highest quality products from our farm and from our area at affordable prices. This commitment begins with our baby animals and continues through processing and extends through to the quality of every product you buy from us: We provide access to the outdoors for all animals 24/7. We feed only high quality feed that is non-soy, non-corn. We treat all our livestock humanely. We allow our animals to exhibit their natural tendencies. We free-range wherever possible. We guarantee that nothing on our farm is genetically modified. We will always provide products of the highest quality.
We believe in LOCAL FOOD for LOCAL PEOPLE. We love the idea of direct sales because it puts us directly in touch with the people we feed. We get to know our customers and we share stories and information. We actually know our customers... they are not nameless, faceless people from thousands of miles away.
The main crops we grow are meat products such as processed pork, whole and cut chickens, whole and cut turkey, retail beef and raw milk (coming in June 2013). Our animals are fed a non-soy, non-corn diet that includes small grains, alfalfa, whey, milk, spent distiller's grains and vegetables we grow on-site. Our beef is entirely grass-fed. We also sell chicken and duck eggs and handmade soaps made with all organic ingredients. Taste is our #1 goal!
