We are a family run farm in Mad River, California. Situated about 4 hours north of Sonoma and Napa Counties. We raise heritage breed pork including pure-bred Red Wattles. Our Red Wattles are pastured and have access to forage under oak trees which gives them acorns, wild herbs and roots as part of their all natural-diet. We do not use growth hormones or antibiotics unless one of our pigs contracts an infection and needs it (very rare).
We have primarily been a breeding and farrowing operation but have more recently begun providing butcher-ready heritage pigs. We can also take care of the butchering in a USDA certified slaughterhouse and provide full carcasses or primal cuts at a set price per pound.
We would like to supply high-end restaurants in Sonoma and Napa counties with our Red Wattle pork because we feel it is some of the best pork available anywhere. We can provide samples to interested restaurants, please contact us.
With a deposit, we can accommodate certain requests such as using organic feed or acorn finished pork. (expensive, and we can only do it with a large deposit, but it will produce some of the greatest tasting pork on the planet)
