The Hillsboro Farmers Market is run through a partnership between the Town of Hillsboro and the Hillsboro Community Association: Friends of the Old Stone School (HCA), a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and maintaining the historic Old Stone School in Hillsboro, Virginia.

The mission of the market is to provide access to a marketplace for local agricultural producers and artisans. With over 70% of all of the vendors being local growers and producers, the market offers a unique venue for western Loudoun to promote its agricultural and small artisan businesses to area residents and tourists.
The market's goals are to: Support local agriculture, farmers and artisans. Connect growers and producers with customers. Provide a market outlet for high quality, sustainably produced, agricultural products. Create a fun, social environment for local residents and visitors. Provide educational programs and demonstrations of interest to market visitors. Raise funds to support the continued preservation of the historic Old Stone School.
