This hard to find relative to onions is braided for your kitchen or pantry wall -- the perfect way to store them. They keep this way for up to 1 year. Holland Red shallots are the prefect, light alternative to garlic fresh in salads and vinaigrettes. These have coppery skins and reddish interior rings. We offer 2 sizes of braids. The small braid is approximately 12 ounces. The large braid is about 24 ounces. Note that the number of shallots per braid varies depending on their weight. Pictured here is the large braid.
