Holmestead Farm

Holmestead Farm is located West of Traverse City out in the Long Lake area at 2102 West Long Lake Road. Marshall and I have always wanted a farm, so this is a dream come true. We are not a certified organic farm but we do use organic practices, which means we use no chemical fertilizers or sprays. Everyone loves coming to the farm, where we always take time to chat awhile. We have a wonderful old well house that we have turned into our farm stand where we sell naturally grown veggies, fruits, eggs, honey, maple syrup, jam and flower bouquets.

We have been doing CSA for 6 years and we are looking forward to another good year for 2015. We accept some new members in the spring, so if you are interested, please let us know.

This spring we are using our hoophouse/greenhouse. This will be a great help in getting started earlier, producing more greens and housing our seedlings. We are excited about this new venture.

Please, stop by so we can meet you and thanks for keeping the small farms in business.
