Rare basil with a spicy scent of clove, lemon, and cinnamon. Grown outside holy sanctuaries in India. Medicinal: Holy Basil has warming, antiseptic qualities. Used as a febrifuge to lower fevers especially those related to colds and flu, as an antibiotic for skin infections and as an insect repellent.
