Holy Cow! Grass Fed Beef

Holy Cow! The cows on Janelle Moses farm are no ordinary cows. Bred purely on grass, Janelle's cows are happy, healthy cows, fed on lush grass from organic pastures, with no corn, soy wheat or grain in their diet. The resulting beef is tender, low fat, and of course, delicious.

The beef we sell has been born, raised and finished on the highest quality irrigated pasture by Moses Farms in Yakima Valley Washington. We grow all of our own certified organic irrigated pasture grass feed on our 128 acre farm. We do not purchase any outside cattle for our grass fed beef. There are no pesticides, no antibiotics, and no growth hormones used.

Holy Cows is a breeder, grower, and organic certified producer.

Our beef is fed a 100% Vegetarian diet. There is no stress put on the weaning calves, as they stay with their mothers. We age verify our steers 16 to 18 months old, resulting in young tender 100% natural, organic grass fed beef. We breed year-round to ensure beef supply for our customers. We breed our cattle for the marriage qualities of the longer loin muscle found in the lean Limousin beef and premium marbling in the certified Black Angus. Limousin cattle are a very old breed in France. Lean Limousin are known for their premium muscle choice breeding genetics, longer loin muscle, low-fat, low cholesterol and docile breeding. The best cuts are found in the beef loin.

We custom harvest and dry age for 14 days. Our local butcher takes pride in custom cutting and double wrapping your beef, and will call you for your perfect cutting and wrapping instructions. Holy Cow is a Breeder, Grower and Certified Organic Producer of natural grass fed beef in the Lower Yakima Valley in Central Washington. We raise Angus / Limousin free range grass finished premium beef in a closed herd. We grow our own organic grass for winter feed, creating a 100% sustainable organic farm.
