Bar Double L Beef is owned and operated by the Lankister family. We live on the beautiful Duncan Ranch in central Wyoming. We raise 100% grassfed, grass finished beef on our certified organic pastures. We do not use added hormones or non-therapeutic antibiotics and any animal needing treatment with antibiotics for illness is disqualified from our beef program. Our beef is naturally flavorful, juicy, and tender. Each steak is hand cut 1 1/4 inches thick for a successful cooking and eating experience for you. Our ground beef will make the best hamburger you've ever eaten, and is browns up nicely for tacos, etc. without the need to add oil or drain off grease. Our beef is flash frozen for freshness and vacuum packaged for convenient storage. We offer individual cuts, economical bundles, as well as beef by the quarter, half, or whole.

Our family also owns the Mary Ann's Beans line of gourmet bean soups, delicous dip mixes, and of course seasonings and rubs to compliment our beef. We offer 14 unique and delicious bean soup mixes, and 12 tasty dips and seasonings. Our family carefully hand packages each mix right here on the ranch. We source our beans from local Wyoming growers as much as possible, and we never add salt, sugar, or MSG to our mixes.

OUR PHILOSOPHY We base our management on a holistic approach. Whatever decisions we make regarding livestock or grass will have an impact on the land, water, air, people, wildlife, and the overall sustainablity of our ranch. We mimic nature as much as possible in our production practices. We calve in the warm late spring and early summer, the same time as the resident deer, antelope, and elk on our ranch. Our cattle graze lush mountain pastures in the summer and continue to forage on "standing hay" in the fall and winter, drastically reducing the need for hay harvested using fossil fuel consuming equipment.

The ranch itself, is owned by the State of Wyoming, and is open to walk-in day use. Please call if you would also like to stop in and visit about and purchase our delicious grassfed beef or bean soups, dips or seasoning products.
