(Lunaria)
These flowers are easy to grow and a delight in the perennial garden .They bloom with purple or white flowers right after the dafodils are gone and self sow easily. They are nice in spring bouquets .
Be sure to leave some blooms for the seed pods . They are picked after totally drying on the plant. Each pod is rubbed from each side gently to remove the tan covering and the seed. Inside is a pearly white membrane that holds up beautifully for years in dried arrangements .
It is one of the few drieds that will not discolor with age or in the sunlight. We use them in our moonlight wreaths, designed to be hung in a window .

The shipping on our orders also includes the processing and handling charges which is also less or equal to most seed companies. Remember we hand pack each order and drive from the farm to the post office to ship your order. I are not a big seed company, in fact not a company at all. I am homestead gardener.
