We make our own propolis tincture, utilizing propolis collected by Pacific Northwest bees. We harvest propolis from our own apiary and also source it from other local beekeepers.
Propolis is a sticky, resinous substance the worker bees collect from trees and various other resinous, sap-bearing plants. The bees also use propolis as their medicine: it works to help keep viral, bacterial, and fungal infections from spreading inside the hive. Research on propolis consistently shows high anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal, and anti-oxidant activity.
Our unique product line showcases raw Pacific Northwest honey, beeswax and propolis. We raise honeybees and source healing hive products from our hives and other regional beekeepers.
We handcraft raw honey tonics, beeswax and honey skin care, and specialize in Oregon propolis. Our products are made in Oregon and are based on traditional herbal remedies. We source ingredients for our value-added farm product line nearly exclusively from locally-based companies; preference is given to domestic products. We use raw organic cider vinegar from California-grown apples; California-grown and pressed olives; and organic herbs sourced from Oregon-based companies.
