Sweet and Juicy Honeybells and Ruby Red Grapefruit are exceptional as gifts or for your own enjoyment. Our Grapefruit in January is at the peak of flavor, and Honeybells are the month's premium orange variety.
Package Sizes:
1 Bushel - Approximately 30-40 lbs
3/4 Bushel - Approximately 25-30 lbs
1/2 Bushel - Approximately 15-20 lbs
3/8 Bushel - approximately 10-15 lbs
1/4 Bushel - Approximately 8-10 lbs
* Note -- Package weights vary with the type and size of the fruit. The same boxes are used for all varieties.
The Orange Shop in Citra, Florida ships Gourmet Oranges, Indian River Grapefruit, Honeybells, and other delicacies from our groves throughout the country from November through May.
A Note on Package Weights: The weights listed are for use as guidelines when purchasing. The actual unit of measurement is the size of the shipping box itself. Smaller fruit will weigh less than the average for a given size box.
A Note on Shipping Schedules: Citrus fruit is perishable, and many of the heirloom varieties we ship are extremely delicate. So, we don't pick them off the tree until we receive your order. We then bring them in to the packinghouse where they're processed and packed, then ship them by ground delivery to ensure safe arrival.
