We grew these as a seed crop for Fedco about 10 years ago and have taken them on as a project because they are from our region and are so beautiful and easy to grow . They are a small plant and would make a good houseplant or container plant . We make tinctures, jellys and vinegar with the fruit as well as dry it for hot pepper and put in in herb blends . It is about a 3 on the heat scale of 3-5 ,good for mild to medium salsa Details: Flowers: small white flowers Foliage: variagated leaves which vary from plant to plant. Leaves can be twisted (Not a disease just the way they grow. mostly white and green but some brown and purple stripes. Fruit: fruit small about2 inches by 12 inch variagated with some purple,green, white and brown changing to red when ripe.
