We've been searching for the perfect hot paprika pepper for years, and have finally found a candidate in Leutschauer peppers from Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds. Native to Hungary - the home of great paprika - these peppers have a wonderfully rounded flavor, with plenty of fruity sweetness and just enough zip to enliven any dish without overwhelming the palette. We used to rely on ground cayenne to spice up our meals, but now turn instead to the Leutschauer.
