68 days, OP. From Hungary. Our favorite hot pepper when we lived in North Idaho. Very early, very productive, and versatile. We use it for salsa and chili rellenos. The fruits are 6"x1 1/2", tapered, yellow turning red, and waxy. 700 to 3000 scoville units. Harvest when yellow for mild flavor, harvest when red for heat. Sets even in cool weather. Also known as Hot Banana pepper and is used for making the hot, yellow, pickled peppers that are delicious on sandwiches and pizzas. Medium/small sized plant gets heavy with peppers early in the season.
Our plants are sustainably raised in our own potting mix. We use only organic fertilizers and sprays if needed. We have been growing and selling plants since 1997.
Our pepper plants are shipped in individual 3" deep pots. They are 4 to 10 inches tall and are ready to be planted out in your garden.
We package our plants with extreme care so they arrive undamaged at your doorstep. Each plant is tucked into its own padded sleeve. The soil in each pot is covered so it will not spill out. A plant tag identifying the variety is included with each plant.
We will be shipping through June 9, and still have a good stock of most of our varieties. Within 24 hours of receiving your order, we will e-mail you with a shipping date that we choose based on your last frost date. You are welcome to change the date to any other shipping week from late March through May.
