Independence Park Farmers Market is located on Irving Park Road at Springfield Ave. inside Independence Park. This is the seventh year that the local neighborhood organization, GIPNA (Greater Independence Park Neighborhood Assoc.) has sponsored the market. The first-ever Chicago edition of the 2011 Michelin Guide recommends this market. Our vendors sell vegetables, fruits, meats (including Halal lamb), flours, eggs, tomato-based products such as salsas and sauces, honey, French and Polish baked goods, gluten-free baked goods, cut flowers, olives, hummus, pita, spices, cookies, soaps and lip balms, organic household cleaners and mosquito repellent, jams, jellies and other condiments, gluten free vegan candies, seasoned nuts, pita chips, tapas, kettle corn, cold drinks, pet treats, cheeses, smoothies and coffees, handmade market bags, plus crepes made to order on site.

The last market of the season, October 9, 9 am to 1 pm. You better come and stock up for winter! It's prime pumpkin, fall fruit and vegetable time. The Classic Cupcake lady will be there in addition to our other outstanding vendors with their high quality baked goods, honey, spices, nuts, biscotti, coffee, eggs, flours, meats, flowers, kettle corn, pet treats and made-to-order crepes, empanadas, and tapas. State Rep Deb Mell will be in attendance; Children's Craft Class 10 am to noon.
