Folks have been growing this tree in their mid-western kitchen gardens for generations. I distribute these peach tree seeds because this wonderful old variety is hard to find ~ folks tell me they remember these from their grandparent's garden, they loved them as children & are happy to find them again.

The trees are lovely, don't get too big & can be pruned to your desired shape or espaliered. VERY productive ~ a bounty of beautiful pink flowers in spring.

The peaches are easy to harvest, great fine texture, sweet & delicious. Perfect to eat fresh, can or make pies.

I hope people will grow these trees, share the seeds & plant more so this variety doesn't die out. Small farmsteads with kitchen gardens are disappearing, bulldozed and replaced by urban sprawl and mono-cropped agribiz farms. This great old peach variety isn't considered commercially viable ~ so you won't find a peach this good in a store!

Our first trees had peaches just 4 years from when we planted the seeds. You'll love growing these pretty trees, sharing the seeds & delicious peaches. GREAT for habitat, too. Wildlife and beneficials love this tree!

A little slow, but not on vacation ~

I was called out of town unexpectedly to take care of my Mom's estate as her husband is selling her house, filled with her life's work, her personal and family items and her extensive collections, & we are also at the 150% level of required outdoor work at our farm here in SE Iowa, so I will make & send your order as soon as possible ~ at the same time doing all the work necessary to make sure we have all the things we need for our customers come harvest time ~

For instance, an awesome catnip crop and LOTS of wonderful heirloom seeds!

Thank you as always for your support ~
