The Iowa Network for Community Agriculture (INCA) is a volunteer-driven organization whose mission is "to develop relationships among those committed to sustainable local food sources that are safe and healthy for people, the land, and all creatures."
INCA members include both producers and consumers, in its quest to become a "weaving organization" to engage consumers and producers alike in creating local food systems.
INCA's activities focus on three main strategies: 1) Growing a new generation of growers; 2) Advocacy and eduction on local food; 3) Offering a statewide presence.
INCA offers support for CSA, farmer's markets, institutional marketing, on-farm direct marketing, and community gardening. INCA has an annual conference to celebrate and inform consumers and producers alike.
