When I walked on the farm and saw a fruit on this tree it gave me the feeling of the second coming of Jesus Christ. As a grower of these fruits you spend most of your time waiting for that special day when that tree gives you its prized possession.
To start with this fruit claims some powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compounds which have been linked to fighting cancer. You may be hearing about this fruit in the near future much the way the Acai berry has made headlines. The tree is native to Brazil and is from an area near Rio de Janerio.
While eaten raw like a Berry can also be used for juice and wine as well jams, tarts and liqueurs. Very sweet when ripe grown directly on the trunk of the tree very bizarre. The dried skins have been used for asthma and gargled for tonsil issues. You will see this go in and out on availability so if you wanna try it I would suggest getting on the waiting list for sure for this one.
Due to the unusually hot summer, shipping highly perishable fruit is more tricky than usual Some fruit is arriving over-ripe. If you have an issue with your order, please call me. I pack every box myself, and want you to be happy with your fruit!
