Heat: HOT, spicy taste with a hint of citrus about the same heat as a habanero but not quite as searing. It does spice up a dish though and if eaten raw will take your breath away and/or can cause hiccups. Can be used fresh, as a garnish or pickled, makes a hotly / spicy not a killer salsa but one with a swift kick to it.
Pods: Resembles a Patty Pan Squash, very unusual shape, like it to a flying saucer, medium-skinned, bright red, wrinkled fruits when ripe, a HOT pepper. Pods grow on very compact plants which are bush like and dense. It is a very prolific pepper with high yields.
