JARC Ability Garden

The Jewish Association For Residential Care (JARC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that serves adults with intellectual disabilities. Our community garden is an Ability Garden where clients grow vegetables and herbs. The garden is used for vocational training, social interaction and therapeutic activities. The organic produce is donated to our culinary training program which operates a kosher cafe. It is sold locally as well.

No matter what your ability or disability is, we have a place for you to garden with us. We have raised beds with seating, raised beds where you can stand and garden and we have traditional rows.

We welcome volunteers and financial supporters who wish to enhance the lives of adults with disabilities.
