70 days. Open polinated Heirloom. Indeterm. Prolific little cuties are produced abundantly over a long season. The fruits are bright, sunny orange, 2 to 3 oz, sweet and juicy. Just perfect for snacking and salads. Crack resistant, too. Produced loads of top quality fruit for us the summer of 2009, which was a challenging cool, wet, disease ridden year. Produces very well in heat and drought, too. Germinated at 87%.
|Lifecycle:||1 (0: N/A, 1: annual, 2: perennial, 3: biennial)|
|Soil:||Adaptable. Tomatoes need phosphorous, potassium, and calcium more than nitrogen. Bone meal is perfect. Excess nitrogen will cause large plants with fewer, later fruits.|
|Propagation / Germination:||Start indoors 5 to 6 weeks before last frost. Keep soil lighlty damp, not wet. 77 degrees is ideal, but will germinate at 60 to 85 degrees.|
|Water:||Water weekly if necessary. Tomatoes appreciate a deep mulch, but wait until the soil has warmed and vines are growing rapidly.|
