Influenced by our father, we started harvesting honey as a hobby with only one colony of bees. We never dreamed it would progress to a point where we could share our honey with friends and family, then to the public. Like our father who passed on his love for bees and harvesting honey, we have passed this art on to our own children, and will to our grandchildren. Our family, including our bees, live in Franklin County Missouri. We believe in sustainable agriculture, which means our honey bees are given as much freedom as possible. Hello everyone! We are so glad to let everyone know that regardless of the extra wet spring we had in the midwest and the cold then hot weather days our beloved hard working honey bees worked very hard and we were able to extract honey twice this 2011 year.
