Jordan Farms

In 1927 Mae Cherry Jordan wrote in her farm journal that they had bought cucumber, bean, potatoes, peas, squash, melon and tomato plants in February and March for planting in the "field". They were share cropping with "SS Farmer." Farmer was probably a Mr. Sapp who owned the property. The field was purchased by Ollie and Mae March 17, 1930 and has since remained in the family. We became certified organic in 2000.
