We believe that consumers should have a good understanding of the relationship between the food they eat and how it was produced. It is our goal to provide flavorful, healthy food for health conscious consumers by creating and maintaining a healthy environment for the animals from which it comes.
We are committed to practicing sustainable agriculture, which is based on responsible stewardship of land and animals. We sell our beef lamb and pork through a CSA type model where customers buy "shares" in beeves, lambs and pigs prior to butchering. 1 Beef share = 1/8 steer, 1 lamb share = 1/2 lamb and 1 pork share = 1/4 pig.

In addition to raising healthy food, part of our mission is to help preserve rare or heritage breeds. The heritage breeds we raise are the Tamworth and the Berkshire. Tamworths are considered the best bacon hogs in the United States and boast some of the leanest carcasses of all pork breeds. Berkshire pork is prized for juiciness, flavor and tenderness. There remain fewer than 1,000 registrations of Tamworths in the United States.
