Just What Grows Gardens is a garden farm specializing in fresh flowers, herbs, salad greens, lavender, and drought tolerant native plants. We have a large pick your flower and herb garden for customers to pick their own bouquets. Over 17 types of cut flowers such as the Lisianthus, Glads, Zinnias, and many others. Over 10 types of herbs such as Basil, Chives, Dill, and Bronzed Fennel. Loose leaf salad greens are available April through June and again September thru November.
Our Drought tolerant plants are grown in the native soils and available for customers to come pick out the plants and the owners will pot them up. Our Firecracker Penstemons are huge, the Apache Plume Shrubs are amazing, and we have a large selection of native grasses. All plants are between $10-$15 depending type and size. Well worth the drive!
What is the Share program? The Just What Grows Gardens flower, herb and salad bowl share program is based on the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). Members support the gardens by purchasing shares in advance of the growing season. This allows Just What Grows Gardens to know how many seeds and plant plugs of flowers, herbs and other crops will need to be purchased each growing season. This will make it easier for the customers since they will not have to bring cash out to the gardens. Customers that purchase a season share will have a few perks that walk-in customers will not have available to them.
