Justus Asthalter Maple Syrup Inc. is a Certified Naturally Grown, family run, sugaring buisness. We have kept the family tradition alive and well, into our fourth generation. We strive to spread the word about getting involved in starting your own family tradition along with producing our own products.
We are welcoming a new additon to our "family" this spring with the help of a Rural Developement Grant for Energy Efficiency. Our wood fired 4x12 Max Evaporator and Enhanced Steam-a- way will help us produce our syrup with less energy used.
Our four children have their own sugarhouse adjacent to ours where they are responsible for cutting, splitting, and firing their own 2x4 evaporator while maintaining their own taps and buckets.

Schedule and Location:
We set up in conjunction with the Cornell CooperativeTent during the Harvest Festival in September at Bethel Woods. Our Syrup is also available via Beaver Brook Farm at the Kauneonga and Barryville Farmers Markets on Fridays and Saturdays.
