Kai Kai follows Best Management Practices and sustainability in its vegetable farming. The soil is amended with locally produced compost each planting. All vegetables are grown on 3 foot wide 6 foot spacing raised beds most with plastic mulch. Irrigation is by drip.

A sampling in a typical 1 bu box included: lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, beans, peas, onions, broccoli, cabbage, eggplant, cucumbers, squashes and herbs. We typically grow about 50 kinds of vegetables, herbs and strawberries.
