Kankakee Farmers' Market

The Saturday morning place to find more growing goodness than you might ever expect to find at a parking lot in a small Midwestern city. The bluegrass is accompanied by rattling shopping cart wheels. It is sort of out of hand fun ... that is, if you are just expecting for a standard edition farmers' market.

Spring market has about 20 vendors and goes from 8am to Noon for 5 weeks, beginning the last Saturday in April. The summer market has about 30 vendors and goes from 7am to Noon from the last Saturday in May to the last Saturday in October.

Internships available.
