KDE Farms raises all natural grass-fed freezer beef according to the natural cycle of our animals and our pastures. We have our own bull and breeding fold (herd) to ensure we know the health and history of our stock. We chose Scottish Highland cattle for the robust disease resistance, ease of calving, quality of beef and minimal maintenance requirements. Not to mention the long hair and long horns make them fun to just watch as they explore pastures or nap under their favorite tree. We sell by the quarter, half or whole animal and do not slaughter until entire animals are sold. We use a local processor that is state inspected and known for their honesty and quality. We welcome farm visits (by appointment only) to see our animals and our operation. We also sell alfalfa / grass hay as we are able. Please contact us for more information.
