Kentucky Wonder Pole Bean is very prolific - yields much longer than bush beans, right up to frost. Pods are oval, thick, gently curved, meaty and tender. Stringless and tender when young, the medium green pods are rich in flavor. The most popular of all heirloom pole beans, has been around since 1864. This bean can be grown on poles, trellis', fences, and teepee structures. Another name for this bean is 'Old Homestead.'
