We are a small farm specializing in the earth-friendly, small-scale production of culinary and medicinal herbs, produce (especially exotic and Heirloom varieties), honey, and free-range/pastured organic heritage poultry and poultry products. We tend to focus more on quality and diversity of product, rather than on intensive production of common varieties. Whereas we are no t"certified organic," we employ only organic, sustainable methods of crop and animal management. Humane treatment and Heritage breed preservation are the core values driving our poultry business. We both hold various degrees in Agricultural sciences from Iowa State University, which serve us well in proactively addressing and acting upon the various complications imposed by nature and man.
