Kismet is the word we use when good intentions are rewarded with sweet little kisses of fate. Like maple syrup that flows in the spring for the patient vermonter, Kismet is the gift given for honest hard work and loving intention. At Kismet, we believe in the goodness of intentionally delicious food too, like organically grown local ingredients, artisan meats and cheeses, and creating menus that reflect the bounty of our local community. Most of our menu is made with local ingredients, our crepes are made with vermont wheat flour and new york grown buckwheat, our eggs are hand delivered by the farmer who collected them that morning, and we even make our own butter with local hormone free sweet cream.
