We are an accidental family farm since we did not originally PLAN to farm when we purchased this property. Somewhere along the way we transitioned from growing our own food to growing for market. We now operate 12 months out of the year and employ 9-12 full-time field hands and a part-time delivery person. We grow a diverse cross section of specialty produce, such as THE (One-and-Only Knoll Farms) Green Garlic, figs, apricots, plums, nectarines, fuji apples,fuyu persimmons, herbs, salad greens, tomatoes, eggplant, cardoon, firewood and grilling fruit woods, to name a few. We sell primarily within a 100-mile radius of our farm, which includes San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, Mountain View and Contra Costa County.
