The Rusk County Farmers Market features locally grown/produced merchandise. The market vendors agree to sell only what they have produced. The peak of the season is approximately August 15th through September 30th. Early season produce includes raspberries and strawberries. Late season includes fall decorations. Throughout the season you will find pasture-raised beef, vegetables, fruits, eggs, chicken, baked goods, floral arrangements, and free-trade coffee. The UW-Extension staff from the Wisconsin Nutrition Education Program also provide educational resources for food preparation and general nutrition at the Wednesday market.
