Our farm is located on the border of the Seneca Indian Nation in southwestern New York State between Salamanca and Jamestown, in a region heavily populated by the Amish. We raise suri alpacas. In addition to production and show quality livestock, we sell raw fleeces (suri and huacaya) as well as rovings and handspun yarn. Each year, I harvest suri fleece that has been allowed to reach 10-14 inches in length for sale to doll artists, crafters and collectors. Fleeces are often reserved a year in advance, so please contact me if you would like to reserve fiber from next year's shearing. We practice sustainable farming (using Holistic Management practices), and are members of a network of local farms working to develop closer relationships between consumers and producers in our area through education, farm visits and promotional events and activities designed to help our members market directly to consumers.
