La`iku (Peaceful) Organic Farm is located on the slopes of Mauna Loa, on the windward side of the Big Island of Hawaii. At 900 feet elevation, with 120-140 inches of rain annually, we can grow over 100 different tropical and subtropical fruits in the volcanic ash soil. We have used organic practices since we began farming in 1996, and we continue to learn and adapt to changing conditions. We have an array of fruits available at the Volcano Farmers Market at the Cooper Center on Sunday morning from 6 am to 9 am. We also provide specialty services, including fruit purees, spices, and fragrant flowers for infusions. Contact us for more information.
