The Lamb Hass, developed in Camarillo, California in 1985, is a large fruit with thick, pebbly skin. Available only from California, the Lamb Hass is a high quality, high yielding, excellent eating avocado comparable to the Hass type avocados consumers have come to identify as great-flavored with a high percent of avocado meat. This Hass has a fairly squarish top and is easily identified against all other varieties via this characteristic.
