LandMark Farm is the gourmet garlic specialty grower in the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts. Owner and garlic lover Mark Stein grows 5 varieties of porcelains, rocamboles, and asiatics. These varieties provide you a choice of flavor for cooked and raw dishes. Only organic methods are used. No herbicides, insecticides, fungicides or petroleum based fertilizers are ever used. We keep our soil healthy and fertile with extensive use of cover crops, and added plant ,mineral, and animal based organic nutrients. Our 2010 crop is cured and ready to sell. An extremely dry growing season resulted in slightly smaller heads than usual, but with the same great flavor. We cure in a tobacco barn which provides perfect curing conditions with the hot dry air we had in the valley in late July.
