2010 will be the fifth year for our farmer's market. This year, however, we have decided to change locations. Our waterfront park site was beautiful, but, after struggling with wind and rain blowing in off the bay, we've decided to locate at more climate-neutral spot. When we start up again (date yet to be decided), it will be in the large parking lot of the Baraga County Convention and Visitors Bureau at the corner of Broad St. and US 41on the east end of L'Anse. As in previous years, we'll have fresh fruits and vegetables as they become available, not to mention plants, flowers, crafts and our always spectacular selection of fresh bakery. You might even find some chicks or new laying hens there. Of course, we'll often bring along a few sheep, goats or miniature horses for the kids to get to know.
